Portfolios

Blush specialises in portfolios for models, aspiring models, or anyone doing promotional work. Whether you are just starting out in the industry or already working and have an agent, Blush will take care of all of your portfolio requirements. Included in a blush portfolio shoot is your own makeup artist/hairstylist, wardrobe stylist, and photographer. Basic retouching is also included.

In a portfolio it is essential to show the versatility of your looks. Your makeup artist and hairstylist will create at least 3 completely different looks for your photoshoot (3 hairstyles/3 outfits). You will have 3 separate photo shoots in our studio and at least 7 photographs taken in each look, to incorporate head shots, body shots, and different styles, all in keeping with the latest fashions. Choose from colour, B+W or a mixture of both for each photograph taken.

Please allow about 3 hours for your shoot. You will be able to view your photographs as soon as you have finished. Prints can be purchased individually or we can customize a portfolio package to suit your needs. You can also purchase images on disk - great for use on online modeling agencies or for multiple prints. With any portfolio package ordered you will receive a free contact sheet of all photographs from your shoot.

Blush can provide you with a list of reputable agency contact details and make suggestions as to which ones would best suit your particular look or the type of work you want to do.

What to bring
Please bring at least 3 different outfits and a range of shoes and accessories so that we can mix and match with the blush wardrobe. Bring as many options as you like....your stylist will help you choose your 3 different looks in your pre-shoot consultation. For a portfolio it is important to show as much versatility in your look as possible, so try to make each look very different!

• Girls - casual (jeans, denim skirt, casual tops, streetwear) formal/evening (evening dresses, club wear, long boots, strappy shoes) conservative/corporate (suit, white shirt), body shots (swimwear, lingerie, gymwear, dance outfit)
• Guys - casual (jeans, t-shirts, streetwear, hat/cap, sunnies) formal/conservative (suit and shirt - bring a few shirt/tie combos) body shots (sport or gym wear, swimwear, old jeans with bare torso, or singlet or shirt open)
